ゴールデンウィーク is literally the transliteration of Golden Week, and is pronouced Gōruden Wīku. It’s a week with multiple holidays of Japan from the end of April to the start of May.

This year the Golden Week starts on Apr 29th, and on 28th people are tweeting (plans, experiences, thoughts, etc.) about it, causing it to trend for a while on Twitter in Japan.
